Where are your grades?

Grades are easy to get from your overseas center – but not that easy to integrate into your transcripts at CSUMB if you haven’t done some work before leaving.  Before you leave, would have been told to complete the Correlation Worksheet (18kb pdf file) and have it on file with the International Programs office, your advisor and in your own files.  You and only you are responsible for holding onto this form. We’ll assist you, but you need to remember that this responsibility is yours.

Getting Transcripts – When you get towards the end of your stay away, ask the local coordinator or the registrars office if you need to request that your transcripts be sent to CSUMB.  Normally, this will have been done before you leave except for NSE students.  All NSE students must request their transcripts from their host campus.  Transcripts should be sent to Records Office at 100 Campus Center, #47, Seaside, CA 93955 and consider having a copy sent directly to you as well.  (CSU IP students do not need to go through this process as it will be completed before you depart.)

Grades take between 2 – 6 months to receive and a month or so more to be integrated into your records.  Be patient but don’t be afraid to ask the Records Office if they has received your grades, where they are in the process of being integrated, if more info is needed, etc.

Grades from programs such as the CSU International Programs, CEA, AustraLearn and other affiliated program will become part of your permanent record and will be added into your GPA.  Grades from non-affiliated programs will also be included in your permanent record if they are from accredited organization
